Maritime Department

The maritime Department within the Port of Tromsø is responsible for all maritime services.

The Port Control has round the clock services and keeps control of activities within the port area.

The Harbour Inspectors main tasks are to control the shiptraffic within the port area like arrivals and departures. This includes serving the ports communications, assign quays and refusal of anchorage.

The Harbour Inspectors are also responsible to make sure that ordered services are been taken care of, like water, electricity and waste disposal.
